What it does

01

Opens files, not accounts

Double-click an EPUB or FB2, or drop it on a tab. Books stay on your machine — there is no cloud library to sign into.

02

FB2 done properly

Inline footnotes, verse formatting, nested sections and embedded images — the details most readers flatten or drop.

03

Remembers your place

Progress, bookmarks and your typography settings persist per book, locally.

04

Reads like a page

Adjustable measure, two-page spread on wide screens, and a night mode that doesn’t just invert the images.

Questions

Does it handle DRM-protected books?

No — no legitimate reader can open books locked by the store that sold them. DRM-free EPUB and FB2 open directly.

Can it convert books too?

Conversion is a separate tool: the EPUB ↔ MOBI converter runs on this site with nothing to install, or as its own extension.

Why FB2?

It’s the dominant format for Russian-language e-books, and most readers treat it as an afterthought — flattening footnotes, verse and nested sections. We don’t.
